That bit extra, very spacious and comfy house with free on site parking for 1 car. Additional cars can park for free on Huntington Road within a 5 minute walk (subject to availability). There is also a public car park Monk Bar, which is nearby, at a cost of £3 after 6pm until 8am the following morning. Please contact us the day before arrival if you are planning on coming with more than 1 car. A welcome pack is available upon arrival with information on getting around.
Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms and the City Walls are less than a mile from 1 Ascot Mews. Walk to the end of the street and turn left, just after the school on the right is an alley with a very pleasant walk into York. The Minster comes into view within a few minutes! It is ideal for families and business guests. There is another three bedroom house next door that also sleeps a family of 6 and can be booked separately.
The property features a spacious living room with large corner sofa, a fully equipped kitchen-diner with fridge/ freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, single oven and hob and a separate dining room with large dining table and high chair. 1 Ascot Mews has a travel cot but please bring your own bedding for this. Linen and towels are provided for six people. There are three large bedrooms with extra thick mattresses for a great night's sleep. The master bedroom benefits from a super king bed and en suite shower room. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and bedroom 3 features bunk beds. There is a large family bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower plus a downstairs WC.
Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property. Outside there is a large sunny courtyard with tables for use. The whole house is yours, make it your home for your stay!
